Toxic Cesspit Spaces

A list of community spaces vetted by Xubiod, if that's a qualification.

Why vet them?

Mostly for checking on key details:

  • The space is actively moderated.
  • The space is genuinely dedicated for the community.
  • The space is for adults only. Not NSFW only, but only adults only.

Some very nice to haves are:

  • Stream schedule notifications (opt-in preferred)
  • Stream live notifications (opt-in preferred)
  • Notices of any important aspects regarding merch/stream

Please message me on Bluesky with a way to access/view the space to be vetted.

I will most likely vet it by myself, under the name "Xubiod".

Considerations:

  • I do not have a Stoat account currently, vetting spaces for that might take a bit
  • Fluxer is still in beta and apparently has issues often as of writing because of popularity
  • This is inherently biased with some aspects.
  • This is statically served, so cache might be an issue outside of my control

I will not take sponsorships to make a space more apparent on the site, don't think about it.

I would like a space removed from the list

TL;DR Please message me on Bluesky, and I will act on the request after looking into it.

It depends (kinda)

Requests will be considered and investigated further. I don't want people from another space trying to get another one removed for no reason.

If the owner/creator of said space or Phisnom directly contacts me the space will be removed ASAP from the list.

This one has been one of the longest lasting options available, even outlasting the officially ran, now dead Toxic Lounge. Currently sits at around 1.9k members, the server is generally active and somewhat actively moderated.

    • This is more of an "I think?" because of my power level within the chat spaces being changed to Moderator.
  • New space (opened February 2026)
  • Manually age vetted
    • Currently neutral as one person is currently doing it
  • Decentralized Matrix instance
    • This might be a bit hard to grasp, but it's hosted on an instance not directly owned by matrix.org.
    • Instance used (nope.chat) is privacy focused, operating in Germany
  • Has dedicated NFSW spaces (if that's your thing.)
  • Not fully E2EE
    • The NSFW chat has end-to-end-encryption enabled so privacy is much better there. Everywhere else has E2EE off.
  • Custom emojis
    • These require specific Matrix clients to use. matrix.org's "Element" can view them but not use them.
